Involved with the Internet since its inception, Brad Down is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for web start-ups. With a personal focus on design and usability he has conceptualised and created some cutting edge websites and applications.
He started his career in advertising and quickly moved client side to focus on large internal web projects. He moved to London early on where he spent 7 years working on the design and production of large corporate websites and then returned to Australia to persue his own company interests.
He launched Known in 1995 with co-founder Alex Macpherson and in the last 3 years together they have incubated no less than half a dozen start-ups including BeamMe.Info and BurstSMS.
