Marcelo Silva

Marcelo Silva is the General Manager for GroupM Search, Australia, and he joined the company in June 2008. He has a track record of working with global online brands and has been involved in the online / digital space since 1996. Locally, he has successfully worked for and developed brands including Yahoo!, ING DIRECT and most recently PayPal. In his current role Marcelo has been effective in integrating search marketing with the broader media mix and thus delivering improved results for clients across multiple industries.
He pioneered multivariate online testing in this market and also challenged many online publishers with pay for performance deals. Marcelo holds a Masters of Internet Communications from Canberra University.
